Before 2013 more or less all of Swedens 213,000 care alarms were analogue.
Currently about 100,000 of these have been transformed to complete digital and mobile
alarm chains, where the care alarm service now is a complete end to end supervised service rather than discreet components..

The reasons why and the background and drivers, their process and experience from the transformation and what the current status is.
The challenges and next steps will also be discussed.

Scotland provides a rich platform for academic excellence, with nineteen Universities, some of whom lead the way in informatics, life sciences and medicine. This is built upon by progressive Health & Care services, willing and able interact with other sectors in pursuit of innovation.
